New ToDo list software

By Brandon | August 14, 2007

A few weeks ago I decided I needed to quit using dozens of pieces of paper to manage my to-do list. I had tons of these little notes all over my desk, ostensibly to remind me of various tasks I needed to complete some day.

So, I decided to look for some todo software. I found several. I also found out that none of them are of any use to me. All of the ones I saw had too many features. Now, I am a software developer, so I love features.  But when it comes to a to-do list, less is more. I don’t want to spend a week learning how to make my to-do list.  I don’t want an implementation of a 500 page book on how to organize my life.  All I want is a to-do list!

So I did what any good software developer does. I wrote my own.

Get ‘em Done ToDo 1.0 is done. Maybe you’ll find it useful. Let me know what you think.

For Micro-ISVs: Alternative payment options:

I’m also trying something new with Get ‘em Done. In addition to customers being able to pay twenty bucks on their credit card, I’m testing out TrialPay. People who don’t want to pony up the cash can use TrialPay to get the program for free by signing up for one of several offers from other companies, like eBay, Blockbuster, etc.  We’ll see how that goes.
