Would you like to pay to send my kid to ridiculously overpriced Christian school? Or give my husband a full time job that makes enough money for me to stay home full time and pay for home school curricula? It seems that everyone I've read who thinks that public schools are evil fail to address the question of, "But what if it is my only choice?" We rent, don't have car payments or credit cards but we still cannot afford to send our kids to private school nor can we afford for only one of us to work. I realize that it is easy to say "Well, then move to a smaller apartment or a cheaper city or..." but I'd love to hear some REALISTIC ideas on what you think someone in a position with no logical, attainable choice aside from public school should do. We're down to the bare minimum already, signed into a contract on our rental and we have good jobs it would not make sense to abandon. Ideas?
